Dr. Naumit Bhandari
MD
Naumit Bhandari, MD, is an Experienced pain management physician at Trident Pain Management in Shavano Park, Texas. Dr. Bhandari was raised in San Antonio and attended Health Careers High School. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin, then graduated from medical school at Texas A&M Health Science Center.
He completed his internship and residency in anesthesiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and stayed on as a faculty member there while completing his pain medicine fellowship.
Dr. Bhandari provides comprehensive acute and chronic pain treatment for all the areas of the body. He believes in a multidisciplinary approach to pain treatment, which could include home exercise programs, physical therapy, biofeedback, medications, and/or interventional therapy with specialized injections. His goal is to provide not just pain relief but also an improvement in functional abilities and quality of life.
Dr. Bhandari has a special interest in back pain, neck pain, PRP injections, and spinal injections.
Joseph Novack
Nurse Practitioner
Joseph was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. After a twenty-year Army career, he earned his Bachelors of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio School of Nursing. While working as a nurse in the Spinal Cord Injury Center of the Audie Murphy VA Medical Center, he continued his education and pursued his Masters of Science degree with a specialty in Family Medicine, again from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio School of Nursing. With more than 13 years of nursing experience, in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Oncology, and Pain Management, Joseph has learned the skills needed to take care of his patient's needs.
He is also trained and certified in Medical Aesthetics through the use of Botox and Dermal Fillers. He is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, Texas Nurse Practitioners, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Joe has been married for 34 years to his wife, Aracely, who has been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years, and they have a daughter, Isabella, who is also a Registered Nurse.
